Biography

Mission statement

Creating a bridge between East and West, dance and theatre.

Synopsis

Award-winning international performer, dancer and director who began acting at thirteen in Israel's national theatre, television, radio and film. From 1994 she travelled and studied with masters including Anton Adassinski of Derevo and Tadashi Endo, developing a practice built from butoh, dance, mime, clown and physical theatre — often described as visual poetry. She leads the Karavan Ensemble and works between the UK and Israel.

Physical theatre, clown and butoh in one body.

I want to make paintings that look as if they were made by a child.

— Jean-Michel Basquiat
