Commission something

Fig. C

You don't need to know what you want. Answer whatever you like below — the questions matter more than the brief — and we'll tell you what's possible, what it costs and who should make it.

Layered manifesto montage of hands making things — pottery, carving, dip-pen drawing — with blueprint instruments, a pencil study of cystic ripple patterns in water, choreographic scores, notation staves and dense marginal script on aged paper.

Mission — why commission

Art is not a luxury for the walls of the few. It is proof we were here.

Commissioning a work is a small act of defiance: you refuse the mass-produced world and ask a human being to make the one thing that did not exist before. No permission needed. No committee. You say what moves you — we find the hands to build it. The work belongs to everyone who walks past it. So does the asking.
