Biography

Synopsis

Italian artist working primarily with photography (b. 1986), a tenured professor of photography at the Academy of Fine Arts of Urbino and founder of Riu, an independent space for visual-art research. She treats photography as a tool for spatial investigation, focusing on the relationship between human presence and environment. Projects include The Ballad of Silent Seeds and Spectrum, the latter examining how technology and aesthetics reshape landscape; her work featured in the GFI Premio Luigi Ghirri.
