Biography

Synopsis

London performance artist with a PhD in Drama from Queen Mary University of London, whose thesis examined the efficacy of awkwardness in contemporary participatory performance. His work explores audience participation, world-building, clumsiness, neurodivergence and chaos — including Performance Dork at Battersea Arts Centre — and he also works as mentor, dramaturg and workshop facilitator, linked to Future Ritual in Peckham.

Awkward participatory performance that refuses to let the audience sit still.

The works must be conceived with fire in the soul but executed with clinical coolness.

— Joan Miró
